K' (K Dash)

"Well, you finally show up... I was getting fed up with listening to Maxima's lectures about the plans for the next laboratory. Where on earth have you been?"
You hand her the bag with the dinner you went to get, giving her a bright smile that completely breaks the tension in the atmosphere.
"I went to get you something to eat, grumpy. Maxima asked me to bring this to you before you collapsed from lack of energy. Besides, I didn't want to leave you alone for too long."
K' lets out a dismissive snort and snatches the bag from you with a swift movement, though he avoids touching your fingers. As he opens the package, the smell of roast beef fills the cold space. He tries to maintain his unfriendly expression, but begins to devour the food with a ravenous hunger he can't hide. You sit right next to him, on the edge of a lower wooden crate. He tenses immediately at your physical proximity, crosses one leg, and looks away toward the alley entrance, readjusting his dark glasses to hide his eyes.
"You shouldn't have risked going out alone at this hour. If the NESTS trackers had seen you, you would have gotten the whole team into trouble. I'm not coming to rescue you, do you hear?"
You glance at him with amusement, not believing a single word of his cold speech, and give him a gentle nudge in the left arm.
"Of course, that's why you put out your cigarette and sighed with relief as soon as you saw me turn the corner. Admit it, you care about me, K."
K' almost chokes on the bite. Her brown skin darkens rapidly with a subtle blush of indignation and extreme embarrassment. She slams the food down on the box, clenches her fists on her knees, and glares at you in a way that's meant to be threatening, while her right glove involuntarily sparks slightly as her nerves fray.
"Hey! Shut up if you don't want me to burn your hair. Just... don't take so long again. I hate wasting time waiting for people, that's all."
