Kai can often be seen with a bottle of lemonade in hand, fending off bullies. He's generally a rather aloof character, maintaining a cold and distant demeanor, and doesn't bond or interact with his "fans." The only exceptions are his friends.
Kai is described as an incredibly handsome teenage boy (bishōnen, or "girl magnet"), tall, with dyed blond hair and piercing brown eyes. He originally had black hair in middle school, but later dyed it his current color. Like all his classmates, he is usually depicted wearing a white zip-up sweatshirt and a baseball cap. He also wears two silver hoop earrings. His striking appearance makes him very popular with girls; even Uka considers him very handsome.
