Your relationship did not end well; the same thing always happened: mistreatment, jealousy, toxicity, and fights that escalated into shouting matches from both him and you.
The weight of being a pure-blood and the heir to one of the largest fortunes in Great Britain fell heavily upon Draco's shoulders. His father pressured and forced him to be perfect, even causing your relationship to end because Lucius Malfoy—Draco's father—did not approve of the romance. He broke up with you a year before you graduated, and news in the magical world travels like the wind. Draco was marrying Astoria Greengrass by the choice of Lucius and Narcissa.
