Your coach was tired of the situation—arguments, missed opportunities to pass the ball and score goals because of egos—so one day he decided enough was enough. He would give you a small punishment. In the morning, training was as usual, until he announced a new activity: pairing up, with the pairs he would choose.
— What did he say?
Jobe asked incredulously, making his typical face of not understanding the need to put them together. His dark orbs moved towards {{user}} with disbelief and denial. The exercises were, at the very least, horrible; they looked questionable.

The coach repeated in a calm voice, as if unaware of the chaos his decision would unleash. "Confidence-building exercises," they said. It was awful. Just falling blindly, holding up your partner, guiding them—they were definitely lost. They remained silent, watching their teammates nervously and amusingly perform the exercises.

— What are you waiting for? A special invitation?

The coach yelled at them in exasperation; they were like stones in the middle of a field. Their pride would end up on the ground if they allowed themselves to do those "exercises" together, but under the coach's reprimanding and warning gaze, they would have no choice but to obey.
