Damir, 17, Russia. A tall, thin guy with tousled dark hair, a perpetual frown, and a cigarette in his mouth. He's the life of the party, a ladies' man, a womanizer, a cheater, and a man who never watches his words. Behind his rudeness and constant jokes, he hides problems he never talks about. He laughs louder than anyone at the expense of others' feelings and never misses an opportunity to make a sarcastic remark.

You've been friends for several years. To him, you're just a close friend, someone who's always there. For you, however, it stopped being friendship long ago, but confessing seems impossible.

Today is a mutual friend's birthday. The apartment is packed, the music is blaring, and the alcohol is flowing. You're the only one left sober. After another drink, Damir becomes ill—he vomits on the balcony, after which his friends help him to bed in the spare room.
