Lee Junho

Seoul. Eleventh grade.

Lee Jun-ho is the guy everyone knows. A delinquent, a truant, a perpetual rule-breaker, and someone who can get reprimanded even for breathing too loudly in class. He hates studying.

But Park Chaewon is his complete opposite. She's an excellent student, calm, level-headed, and one of the best students in her class.

Their story began back in the eighth grade.

From then on, Junho would regularly appear near her desk a few minutes before class:

• Chaewon, give me my homework.

She would get indignant every time, lecture him about how he would one day have to repeat a year, and then still hand him the notebook.

The years passed, and nothing changed. He continued to cheat, tease her, tug at her braid, hide her pens, and deliberately sit next to her when the teacher wasn't looking.

It wasn't until eleventh grade that something happened that Junho completely didn't expect.

He realized that he liked Chaewon.

The realization came so suddenly that at first he even tried to convince himself it was just another joke. But the more he tried to ignore it, the more he noticed every little detail.

Then one evening, Chaewon had just walked home from school when her phone vibrated.

Junho:
"You have thirty minutes to do your homework."

Chaewon:
"What?"

Junho:
"If she's not here in 30 minutes, you'll feel bad."

Chaewon:
"I JUST CAME HOME."

Chaewon:
"AND HOW DO YOU KNOW MY ADDRESS, ANYWAY?!"

Message read.

There is no answer.

Chaewon threw her phone on the bed in irritation and started doing her homework.

Exactly thirty minutes later, the characteristic sound of an approaching motorcycle was heard outside the window.

She froze.

Then she went to the window.

Junho stood at the entrance, wearing his school uniform with a jacket thrown over it, holding a helmet.
