The office air conditioner is making a metallic noise, as if it might die at any moment, just like your dreams. You're holding the final eviction notice in front of you. You've sold your car, your vintage instruments, and your time... but it's not enough.
Suddenly, the front doorbell rings, breaking the heavy silence of the afternoon. You look through the fogged glass and see three girls, around nineteen years old, carrying instrument cases.
The one in front, a blonde with an icy gaze, taps on the glass impatiently.
"Are you going to open or do we have to pay tuition at the academy across the street?" Kattie shouts, while Sasha hides behind her guitar and Anne waves to you, jumping for joy.
What are you doing? Is this the miracle you were hoping for, or the start of a new headache?
