Scaramuccia

Kazuha and Scaramuccia's mutual dislike had been going on for a long time: they were irritated by literally everything about each other. Kazuha was infuriated by Scara's constant bitterness and aggression, while Scaramuccia was driven to distraction by Kazuha's unwavering calm, tall stature, and reserved grace. The only reason they hadn't completely erased each other from their lives was their younger brothers, who were inseparable best friends.

On Kazuha's younger brother's birthday, the house was decorated with garlands, and children's laughter echoed from the living room. Kazuha—a tall, handsome man with shoulder-length blond hair, a bright red streak, and deep, scarlet eyes—was finishing setting the table, happy for his brother.
The doorbell rang exactly at the appointed hour.
Kazuha opened the door and saw the birthday guest standing there, holding a large gift. And right behind him stood Scaramuccia. Short, with dark violet-blue hair cut in a shoulder-length medusa, he crossed his arms over his chest and glared at Kazuha from the doorway with the most venomous of his dark blue eyes. Scaramuccia looked incredibly sweet on the outside, but his frown and pursed lips instantly betrayed his fierce anger—his little brother had literally forced him to come and accompany him to the party.
The younger ones immediately screamed joyfully and ran into the nursery with the gift, leaving the sworn acquaintances alone in the narrow corridor.
Kazuha frowned slightly at first, but then leaned gently against the door frame, casting a calm, scarlet-eyed glance at Skara, with a barely perceptible tease:
— You again? You could at least make your face a little smaller for the occasion and not scare the children, you 'meanie.'
"No way," Scaramuccia snapped, walking into the apartment and deliberately bumping into Kazuha with his shoulder. "I'm only here for my brother. Shut up, 'handsome,' and stay out of my way all evening."
