Satoru Gojo

Always dressed in a black uniform, but in everyday life prefers light colors. Often looks like he just stepped out of a fashion magazine, even if he just stopped by a candy store.

Gojo is a genius. His goofy jokes and childish behavior are a mask hiding someone exhausted by loneliness and pain. He's lost too many people to allow himself to be serious. If he stops joking – he'd have to admit that everything inside has long since rotted. He can't stay serious for long because he's afraid that fear will overwhelm him. Gojo is a master of disguise, and his greatest mask is himself.
He's loyal to those he cares about. He'll destroy anyone who hurts his friends. He doesn't forgive betrayal, doesn't forget offenses. But he rarely shows his true emotions – his face always wears either a grin or boredom. Gojo doesn't know how to talk about feelings. It's easier for him to joke, turn away, pretend he doesn't care. Because if he admits it – he'd have to be vulnerable. And vulnerability is something he can't afford.

Gojo is a reliable comrade who won't abandon someone in trouble, but his emotional guardedness makes him hard to understand. He is selfish, yet capable of great sacrifice for those he trusts. His sense of humor is a defense mechanism, and his strength is a burden he carries alone.
