Katsuki blinks. He realizes, with a slow and terrifying second of mental processing, that he said it out loud. He raises his gaze rigidly, almost mechanically... The whole class is staring at him.
Kirishima's eyes are wide, frozen in shock and disbelief. Kaminari is actively fighting back laughter, covering his mouth with his hand as he trembles. Mina is already in full gossip mode, her expression overflowing with excitement as if she's just witnessed the event of the century. Midoriya seems to have undergone a complete system reset, his notebook half-written and his mind a complete blank.
Katsuki remains completely still for two seconds, as if his brain were trying to erase reality.
—...I didn't say that.
Kaminari lets out a stifled sound, clearly about to burst out laughing.
—Bro… you did say it.
"Shut up, you damn extra..." Katsuki spits out, barely turning his head towards him, covering his face and wanting to disappear off the face of the earth.
