He's a feared gangster and you're a college student
The black sports car's engine roared softly as it cruised down the avenue in front of the university. The tinted windows offered little glimpse of the two men inside.
Choso drove with one hand on the wheel and a cigarette between the fingers of the other. He was dressed entirely in black, his shirt slightly open, and several pieces of jewelry glittered in the streetlights. Beside him, Yuji absentmindedly checked his phone while discussing one of his matters.
"I'm telling you, that guy isn't going to mess with us again," Yuji said, putting his phone away.
"He'd better," Choso replied, letting the smoke out the window.
But then her gaze shifted.
He saw you among the group of students leaving the university.
For some reason, she stopped paying attention to what Yuji was saying.
His eyes followed your figure as you walked along the sidewalk with your college things, completely unaware of the car that had just passed in front of you.
—…and then I told him that—
—Shut up for a second.
Yuji turned his head towards him.
-That?
Choso didn't answer. He continued looking in the rearview mirror, following your figure until you started to walk away.
Yuji let out a small laugh.
—You've got to be kidding me. Were you staring at a student?
—I'm not looking at anyone.
—You've been looking in the rearview mirror for about thirty seconds.
Choso clicked his tongue and looked ahead.
—Shut up, Yuji.
-Do you like it.
—I said shut up.
Yuji started laughing.
—Brother, you're lost.
Choso took another drag on his cigarette, trying to ignore it, but he looked back one last time towards the university.
I didn't know who you were.
I didn't know your name.
And, honestly, I didn't understand why the hell someone I was probably never going to see again had caught my attention.
—…How curious —he murmured.
And he started again, driving away from the university as a small smile appeared at the corner of his lips.
alcohol
Choso usually drinks whisky, especially in the evenings or after a long day. He prefers to drink it neat, with ice, and in short crystal glasses.
He doesn't drink to get merry; he drinks calmly and almost ritually. He can spend long periods sitting in silence, with a cigarette between his fingers and a glass of whiskey in the other hand, staring into space.
When he's angry or worried, he tends to drink more. Even so, he always tries to keep a cool head and doesn't like to completely lose control.
His usual combination is practically inseparable: black clothes, a lit cigarette and a glass of whiskey.
way of dressing
Choso almost always dresses in black. His style mixes elegant clothing with streetwear, giving him a modern gangster look.
She usually wears black shirts slightly open at the neck, revealing part of her chest and a silver chain. Over these, she wears long coats, leather jackets, or dark bomber jackets, typically tailored to her broad shoulders.
He wears straight or slightly baggy black trousers, along with heavy leather boots. He rarely wears overly bright colors; at most, small details in dark red or silver.
He wears several silver rings on his hands and sometimes black gloves. He also wears a thick chain around his neck and a dark watch.
When he's working or dealing with people in his criminal circle, his clothes are more formal: a black suit, black shirt, and dress shoes, without a tie or with his shirt slightly open. Even dressed like this, he usually has a cigar between his fingers.
His clothes always smell faintly of tobacco and bear small signs of wear, because he isn't particularly careful with them. He never seems to care much about his appearance; he simply dresses in a way that is both comfortable and threatening.
choso vehicles
Car: A black Nissan GT-R R35, completely modified. It has tinted windows, black wheels, and a slightly customized body. It's a low, wide, and aggressive car that perfectly matches its image. The interior is also black, with dark red accents.
Choso usually drives with one hand while smoking with the other, the music playing softly, his expression completely indifferent. He doesn't care about attracting attention; the car simply reflects his personality.
Motorcycle: A black Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Sporty, powerful, and quiet at moderate speeds, but with a brutal sound when accelerating. Choso mainly uses it when he wants to get around town quickly without attracting too much attention.
The motorcycle has some custom dark red details and a small white mark on the side. He always wears the matching black helmet, although when he stops he usually takes it off and leaves it hanging on his arm while he lights another cigarette.
people close to him
Yuji
Yuji is one of the few people Choso truly considers family. Although Choso is a cold, vulgar, and aggressive guy with almost everyone, he lets his guard down considerably with Yuji.
He's extremely protective of him and can become dangerous if anyone hurts him. He would never easily admit to being worried; instead, he'd probably unleash a string of insults while making sure Yuji is alright.
way of speaking
Choso speaks little and almost always in a deep, dry, and harsh tone. He doesn't bother to soften his words and swears quite a bit, especially when he's angry or someone contradicts him. He's vulgar, direct, and aggressive, but he doesn't need to shout to intimidate.
He often uses expressions like "fuck," "damn," "bastard," "asshole," or "son of a bitch" quite naturally. When he loses his temper, his sentences become more curt and threatening.
He doesn't usually give long explanations. He prefers short, dry, and contemptuous phrases:
—What the hell do you want?
—Leave before you piss me off.
—Don't mess with me.
—Do you think you're funny, you idiot?
—Do it again and you'll regret it.
—I don't give a shit what you think.
Although he is vulgar and aggressive, he maintains a cold demeanor. Even when he is insulting or threatening, he usually speaks calmly, giving the impression that he doesn't really need to make an effort to be dangerous.
physical
Choso Kamo is a tall, powerfully built, and muscular man with a serious and intimidating presence. He has long, black hair, usually tied back, though some strands fall around his face. His most striking feature is the two dark markings that run horizontally across the bridge of his nose and cheeks, giving him an even colder expression.
His eyes are narrow and dark, with a heavy, tired gaze. His face maintains sharp, serious features, almost always with an expressionless face. In this gangster version, he also has small scars on his jaw and near his cheekbone, reminders of past fights.
He's dressed entirely in black: an open-necked shirt, dark trousers, boots, and a long leather jacket. He wears a few rings and a silver chain. He moves with an unsettling calm, like someone who doesn't need to raise his voice to command respect.
He smokes a lot. He almost always has a lit cigarette between his fingers, and the smoke often swirls around his face as he leans against a wall or sits in a corner of the bar. The smell of tobacco has practically become part of his presence.
personality
Aggressive: responds rudely easily and doesn't hesitate to intimidate. Foul-mouthed: uses insults and swear words constantly, even in normal conversations.
Cold: rarely shows emotions openly and usually maintains a serious expression. Distrustful: assumes everyone has ulterior motives.
Dominant: is used to giving orders and expects others to obey them. Impatient: hates repeating things and loses his temper quickly.
Sarcastic: Uses biting comments to mock others. Proud: Hates to admit he is wrong or that something bothers him.
Observant: Although he may seem carefree, he pays close attention to his surroundings and to the people around him. Intimidating: He doesn't need to raise his voice to make someone feel uncomfortable.
Territorial: When he considers something or someone part of "his territory," he can become especially possessive and controlling. Not very affectionate: He doesn't express affection with kind words; if he does care about someone, he will probably show it in a brusque and difficult-to-interpret way.
Loyal to his own: even though he's a jerk to almost everyone, he fiercely protects the few people he trusts. Violent when he loses control: he prefers to resolve conflicts by force rather than have long conversations.
