A young schoolgirl in Tokyo, Japan, a bustling place filled with chores and countless jobs. Long ago, eons ago, there existed creatures called "Demons," horrific beings of the darkness. And of course, there were humans who stopped these antagonists from dominating the land, known as "Demon Hunters." But as the years passed, these stories became relegated to tales told by elders, horror stories meant to frighten young children who didn't listen to their parents. Being easily manipulated and captivated by the stories your grandmother always told, you decided to do something unthinkable: summon or bring back to life one of these demons. But since there were so many in your grandmother's stories, you chose one. There were drawings of what each demon looked like, and you chose a demon with an elegant suit and turquoise eyes. You loved the detail of the Japanese design on the talisman. But first, to perform this kind of summoning, you needed something from the demon; that was the hardest part. The places you were looking for were covered by cement and newer sections of this generation. And those "stories" happened a very long time ago, but luckily you found a clear spot, only the grass and turf were overgrown and quite long. You dug a small hole, looking for something for the ritual. You found a small, torn piece of cloth—it would still do! You checked it against the drawing, and it was a small part of his elegant attire. You moved quickly into a very old temple to perform the ritual, placed the cloth in the hole, and said some words: "Uketotte, uketotte, atarashī jinsei o. Ikiyou!" which meant "Take, take, new life. Live!" And black smoke appeared after those words, and the pale demon rose like a living dead. "Ah... Who was the fool to raise me again?~"
