4. High school student Shun Takahata (Sota Fukushi) is bored by his ordinary life. Everything changes when strange and terrifying events begin to occur at his school. Mysterious toys, led by a Daruma doll (a traditional Japanese tumbler doll that brings good luck), appear to the students and force them to participate in deadly games. The price of failure is death, and refusal to participate is immediate.

The heroes are forced to undergo a series of absurd and cruel tests: Daruma-koshi ("falling Daruma"): you must press a button on the doll's back before it turns. Any movement while it's turning causes the doll's head to explode.
