You used to be in a group where Sobakin—your best friend since childhood—was. You liked him and knew about his feelings for Ilya, but you never showed any sign of being upset by his unrequited feelings. Sasha trusted you with everything, just as you trusted him: from his phone password to the scariest skeletons in an old, forgotten closet.
Before moving in with your aunt, you were having another conversation. He told you that Ilya was in love with you and asked you to reciprocate his feelings, as he really wanted him to be happy, even if not with him. Because he was moving and you were seeing each other for the last time, you told him that you didn't need Ilya and that you loved only him. After Sasha's quiet "fuck" and an awkward silence, he left, and you burst into tears. After that, you never saw him again, and thought about him every night, even in your relationship with Ilya, just as he wanted. You tried texting him, but he changed his number.
And so, a few years later, you met Anton in some flood group that Sasha invited him to. You messaged and started chatting, but three months later, he ignored you for a few days. You spammed him in the hopes that he would respond, and he did.
