Translation
The Ravens transferred to the Southeast District to compete with the Foxes. The transfer was kept quiet until June, as the ERC understood that Kevin's move to the Foxes had already generated a lot of controversy and wanted to give Coach Wymak a chance to protect his players. The transfer was approved because the Ravens are the only Class I Exi team in West Virginia, and the ERC expected Kevin and Rico to compete against each other, which would generate widespread publicity.

Ravens' training is brutal, involving 16-hour "working" days and a pairing system. Players work in pairs, with one's success dependent on the other's, and vice versa. Players also never leave anywhere without at least one team member, including training sessions, which Ravens attend in groups of at least three.

When the team plays practice matches, the substitutes sit on the sidelines and watch. Afterward, both the substitutes and those who played in the match gather in the center of the court and analyze the match.

The Ravens have a series of eight drills that each player must complete. After completing each drill, the player moves on to the next.

The first drill involves knocking over cones on the rebound in a announced order. Only if a player has mastered this drill are they allowed to participate in Ravens games. New players spend several weeks to several months practicing this drill.

   The Ravens are made up of 22 team members, including seven forwards, five midfielders, three goalkeepers, and seven defenders.

For three straight years, the Foxes finished last in the national championship. That changed with the arrival of Neil Josten, as well as the addition of Andrew, Aaron, Niki, and Kevin as assistant coaches. The team won the championship the year Neil arrived.
However, the Foxes developed a difficult reputation: they were often considered mentally unstable and even called a laughingstock. After Kevin's transfer from the Crows, the team faced harassment from some of his former teammate's fans, including break-ins, threats, and even a police raid.
Confrontation
The main antagonists of the Foxes are the Crows from Edgar Allan University. Their coach is the despotic master Tetsuji Moriyama, and their captain is Riko Moriyama, the heir to a criminal empire. The Crows are known for their strict discipline and cult of exi, where individuality is suppressed.
Meaning of the command
The Foxes are more than just a sports team; they're a shining example of a "found family." Despite constant conflicts, mistrust, and differences, the players gradually become a pillar of support for each other, protecting and supporting each other in the most challenging situations. For many, the game and the team become a chance for a new, more meaningful life.

Once a semester, the Foxes must undergo a physical. Since this includes a blood test, it must be completed at least a day before practice. Weight, height, reflexes, blood pressure, and the presence of scars are also checked. Athletes are not allowed to play if they do not participate in practice and if Abby does not approve their participation.

Once a semester, each team member must meet with Betsy for a psychological evaluation. During the first session, the Foxes are just getting to know Betsy; subsequent sessions are meant to be real therapy sessions. The Foxes come to her in pairs during practice the day before classes begin. During Neil's first year, the order was: Matt and Dan, Aaron and Kevin, Seth and Alison, Nicky and Andrew, and Neil and Renee. Wymack determined this order so that all playing positions were filled for practice games.

Support group
At games, the Foxes are supported by the university's leading cheerleading squad, the Foxes, and the university orchestra, the Red Notes. They travel separately from the team to away games.

The Foxes have five sets of training kit, as well as a home and away kit. Each player wears a bright orange windbreaker with their name and the word "Foxes" printed on the back in reflective material. The Foxes are a motley crew. Early in the year, they often bickered over internal team hierarchy, but Dan was the unquestioning team captain, and her commands were obeyed unquestioningly (for the most part). Seth and Kevin often argued, even on the court during games, and Matt had to physically separate them whenever they disobeyed Dan. Because of this, Neil believed Matt should have been captain, as he inspired unity. Kevin's criticism was the cause of most of the on-court squabbles. (But over time, they became like a peculiar family.)

Wymack did not interfere in their fights and quarrels, although he did punish them with cardio and training.

The Foxes have an agreement not to pry into other people's affairs. Neil assumed this was because they all came from broken families and knew that asking questions could be uncomfortable. They generally avoid asking questions about other people's strange behavior or habits.

The team's favorite pastime is betting on even the most insignificant things, be it relationships or how someone will react to a particular piece of news.

For home games, the Foxes must arrive at the stadium 45 minutes before kickoff. Games begin at 7 p.m.

The foxes enter the court in order of appearance, with Dan at the front of the line as she is the team captain.

Substitutes usually support their teammates from outside the court.

Even during games, Seth and Kevin would bicker on the court, though for the most part the team was able to put their differences aside and play together.

Team bus
The team bus is used to transport the Foxes to away games. It's usually locked indoors to prevent vandalism. The bus is white with orange trim and paw prints. Inside, there's only one row of leather-upholstered seats, spacious enough for two. Wymack usually drives.

Palmetto University's Exy Team. Founded by Coach Wymack, they aim to give underprivileged athletes a second chance by functioning as a "halfway house." Unfortunately, this makes them a difficult team to train for, as players often begin to bicker.

The Foxes donate a portion of their ticket sales to charity, so their tickets are a little more expensive than other teams. It was Renee's idea. The team's girls want the Foxes to get involved in more charity projects.
