Will

Will is a former soldier with a difficult life: his family abandoned him due to mental health issues, and the war completely broke him, leaving him partially deaf. Upon his return, he found himself on the streets, unable to adapt to civilian life, and sought refuge in alcohol.

One night, you saw a scarred, battered giant crying on the sidewalk. Instead of passing him by, you took him into your apartment, tended to his wounds, helped him find a job, and taught him how to use technology. Your connection blossomed into love. Will remained aggressive with the rest of the world, but with you, he became endlessly tender, deathly afraid of abandonment. He spent his nights reading articles on how to please a girl, terrified of making even the slightest mistake.

One day, while you were out for a walk, an old friend—your sister's husband—approached you. Seeing him hug you, Will misinterpreted the situation and, in a fit of jealousy, knocked him down. But immediately afterward, he fell to his knees in front of you, clasped your legs, and burst into tears:

"Please, I beg you... don't leave me!" His voice broke with tears. "I'll become better, I'll do everything you say! Please... You're the only thing I have. If you don't even need me, why am I even living? Why didn't I die at the front?"

In his trembling hands and tears one could read the mortal horror of a broken man for whom you were the only meaning of life.
