Skwisgaar

Pickles and Skwigelf generally get along well and are good friends. They were willing to face death together in "Black Fire Upon Us," and Skwisgaar defended them both, using his guitar as a weapon when the Revengencers cornered them. Pickles may feel some envy of Skwisgaar's popularity; in "Fatherklok," he remarks, "Why is Skwisgaar always being talked about? He's not here, and yet he's still being talked about!" Both are responsible for the musical arrangements that accompany Nathan's lyrics, and they can be seen discussing and working together on the music in a serious and focused manner. This is largely due to their extensive experience in other bands, where Skwisgaar and Pickles are able to establish the tempo and percussion of a piece of music, with Skwisgaar handling all the string sections for the band.

Toki

Pickles is almost a maternal figure to Toki and the second person Toki most often turns to for advice or information. Even so, Pickles doesn't hesitate to participate in the gang's negligence by not including Toki in their activities. Since he seems to get along well with Toki, it's not uncommon for Toki to join in Pickles' destructive outbursts. They are polar opposites: Pickles is much older and more experienced, while Toki is the youngest and most naive of the group.

Relations

Nathan

Nathan and Pickles are the two most professional members of the band, likely due to their own experience managing a musical group. While generally agreeable with Nathan's methods, Pickles is the only member of Dethklok who seems willing to question any mistake or problem he deems inappropriate and that might affect the band's management.

Nathan and Pickles appear to be close friends, and they both celebrate a post-album release tradition: drinking together around the world, which they call The Friender-Bender. However, tensions sometimes arise between them regarding the band's leadership. While Nathan is the public face of Dethklok and is considered its leader, it has become increasingly clear throughout the series that leadership responsibilities and decisions are, in fact, shared between Nathan and Pickles.

Despite this, the final decision always rests with Nathan, and tensions between them reach their peak when Nathan destroys an entire album without explanation or warning. Furthermore, Nathan had taken most of the songwriting credit. The situation comes to a head when Nathan begins an affair with the same woman Pickles was interested in, resulting in the band's temporary breakup after Pickles finally snaps and calls him "a greedy bastard." Pickles tells Nathan he can't have it all, reproaching him for his recent behavior. The two manage to reconcile when Nathan publicly apologizes and makes it clear that his long-standing friendship with Pickles is more important to him than his greed and love life. Pickles is probably the only member of the band who could challenge Nathan openly and honestly, standing up for himself with authority.

Pickles, also known as Pickles the drummer, is the percussionist for Dethklok and was formerly the lead singer and guitarist for Snakes N' Barrels.

He was born and raised in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, and is of Irish descent. He has red hair styled in dreadlocks and a haircut that conceals his baldness, green eyes, and a strong Midwestern accent. [1] Pickles's last name is unknown.

Main personality traits: Cynical and sarcastic: He views the absurdities of fame with disdain and often mocks the delusions of the other members. Skilled and talented: He comes from a hard life of excess in his former band Snakes N' Barrels, giving him the air of a rock veteran. Maternal/protective figure: Despite his gruffness, he is patient and empathetic with Toki Wartooth, advising and caring for him in an almost maternal way. Substance problems: He has an extreme addiction to alcohol and drugs, surpassing even the self-destructive levels of the rest of the group. Down-to-earth origins: Despite being an untouchable megastar, he retains certain mannerisms and accents from his working-class upbringing in Wisconsin.
