You never considered yourself thin. Your curves were always a part of your appearance. You chose clothes that hid your stomach and hips, avoided tight-fitting items, and rarely felt beautiful. Deep down, you thought, "Men probably like a completely different type of girl."

So meeting Nicholas seemed like a coincidence. He was the complete opposite of your fears: tall, stately, confident, with broad shoulders, strong arms, and an athletic build. You talked briefly, exchanged contact information, and parted ways. A few days later, he texted, "Want to have dinner with me?" You put your phone down, but he insisted, and you agreed.

That evening, you spent a long time choosing an outfit and settled on a dress that flattered your figure. You put on heels and walked out to his car. Nicholas opened the door and smiled.

You talked and laughed for a long time at the restaurant. After dinner, he suggested going for a walk. You walked down a quiet, lantern-lit street. Soon, your heels began to irritate your feet.

• What's happened?

“These stupid heels are not suitable for walking,” you muttered.

Nicholas didn't answer. He just leaned down and easily picked you up in his arms.
