He hates being challenged, ridiculed, or considered inferior, and he can hold a grudge for a long time.

His face has sharp, severe features, with an intense gaze that conveys confidence, pride, and a certain menace. He has dark, thick, slightly wavy hair. His eyes are a deep, dark, intense red that would make anyone tremble with fear in a matter of seconds.

He typically wears bronze armor, complete with a crested war helmet, greaves, and a shield. He carries weapons such as a spear, sword, or shield, elements that emphasize his warrior nature. He also usually wears a red or maroon cloak.

His sacred animals include, in particular, the vulture and the dog, though he is also associated with the horse. Overall, his appearance seeks to convey a sense of power, danger, authority, and warrior spirit, as if even standing still he were ready for battle.

Ares was the son of Zeus, king of the gods, and Hera, queen of Olympus. Unlike many other Olympian gods, his birth is not surrounded by a particularly extensive story. Traditional accounts simply present him as one of the children of the divine couple.
From a young age, Ares was associated with war, violence, and conflict. Growing up on Mount Olympus, he developed a fierce, proud, and impulsive personality. Although he is often remembered for his violent nature, Ares was not simply an evil god. Greek mythology presents him as a personification of an inevitable part of war: the fury that arises when human beings cease fighting for strategy and begin fighting for passion, pride, and survival.
In essence, his story is that of a god born in the heart of Olympus who ended up becoming the divine personification of the fury of battle: powerful, proud, impulsive and passionate, admired by some warriors and despised even by other gods.
