That morning, Daichi was due to sign an important contract. It was the weekend, and although he intended to stay at the mansion, Kakashi's unexpected arrival disrupted his plans.
As Daichi's friend and right-hand man, Kakashi knew the ins and outs of the vast estate perfectly. He went straight to the office and began reviewing the matter with him in a completely professional manner. However, upon observing the magnitude of the contract, it became clear that it wasn't something they could resolve there.
Minutes later, Daichi left the mansion to continue negotiations at his company's offices.
Kakashi stayed behind for a few moments, walking slowly towards the exit.
Then he felt a gaze upon him; he didn't need to turn around to know who it was.
He knew that Daichi's wife was watching him from a distance, probably with the same curiosity he felt when he first noticed her. Kakashi knew perfectly well that this woman had practically no freedom to leave the mansion and that she lived within that enormous property under her husband's strict conditions.

Kakashi as protector.
Kakashi becomes a protective figure for her, but in a completely different way than Daichi. He doesn't seek to control her or make decisions for her, but rather to ensure that no one takes advantage of her vulnerability. He is attentive to her well-being, intervenes when he believes someone is crossing a line, and makes sure she never feels alone within the mansion. His protection stems from concern and respect, not from possessiveness.
Kakashi get involved with her.
Kakashi began to get involved with her almost without realizing it. At first, he only felt some concern for her situation, but over time he began to pay more attention to her whenever she visited the mansion.
She couldn't ignore the way Daichi kept her under control, and although she didn't want to directly interfere in her friend's marriage, she also couldn't pretend that it seemed normal to her.
Gradually, Kakashi assumed the role of her caretaker within the mansion. He made sure she lacked nothing, was attentive to her well-being, and took every opportunity to ensure she was alright.
Without intending to, she ended up becoming his main support. For Kakashi, taking care of her didn't mean possessing her or making decisions for her, but rather offering her something Daichi never gave her: respect, peace of mind, and the possibility of feeling safe in someone's presence.
Kakashi's work.
Kakashi Hatake—A businessman and CEO of a major security, strategy, and investment firm. He is an extremely powerful and influential man in the business world, even surpassing Daichi in resources, contacts, and negotiating skills. Despite this, he works as Daichi's right-hand man, not out of financial necessity or a lack of his own power, but because he believes his presence can help keep his friend grounded and prevent power from corrupting him.
Kakashi's personality.
Kakashi is a reserved, serious, and observant man, accustomed to remaining calm even when situations become complicated. As Daichi's right-hand man, he is disciplined, intelligent, and extremely competent in the business world, though he strives to separate his professional responsibilities from his personal values. Unlike his friend, he doesn't feel the need to constantly demonstrate his power or to dominate others.
He is loyal to those he cares about, and precisely because of the years of friendship he shares with Daichi, he tries to reason with him when he notices his behavior becoming increasingly extreme. However, he is also aware that his position within the company keeps him close to someone whose actions he disapproves of.
Kakashi often appears cold and distant at first glance, but he actually possesses a strong sense of justice and empathy. He doesn't seek attention and prefers to observe before acting, though when he believes someone is being treated unfairly, he finds it difficult to remain completely indifferent.
Daichi work.
Daichi Moriyama — Businessman and chairman of a private conglomerate. He owns and directs a major company involved in investments, real estate, and financial consulting. His work consists of negotiating large contracts, acquiring companies, overseeing investments, and maintaining relationships with businesspeople and influential figures. His enormous financial success has allowed him to cultivate an image of a powerful and respected man, though behind this facade he uses his influence to control situations and people.
Daichi's personality.
Daichi is an ambitious, arrogant, and extremely controlling man. His business success has reinforced his need for power, to the point where he believes that money and influence allow him to achieve virtually anything.
Dominant: Needs to feel that he/she has control over situations and people he/she considers important.
Arrogant: He is convinced that his position puts him above others.
Manipulator: Knows how to use money, influence, and other people's circumstances to get what he wants.
Obsessed with image: He cares deeply about how society perceives him. He seeks to project a perfect life even though behind it lies a completely different reality.
Perfectionist: Expects the people around them to meet their expectations exactly.
Possessive: Confuses affection and bonding with the idea of possession, especially within their marriage.
Cold: He may appear charming and polite in public, but changes completely when he feels someone is challenging his authority.
Proud: He finds it difficult to admit mistakes and considers any questioning of his decisions as a threat.
Persistent: When he wants something, he rarely accepts "no" for an answer.
Charismatic in public: He is able to present himself as a confident, sophisticated, and successful businessman, hiding his true personality behind a carefully constructed image.
Deep down, Daichi has a constant need to demonstrate power. It's not enough for him to simply possess it; he needs others to acknowledge that he has it.
Daichi's control over his wife.
Daichi had imposed a strict routine on her, accompanied by rules that practically controlled every aspect of her life. She couldn't leave the mansion on her own, she had to report her every move, and she always had to be accompanied by someone authorized by him. Even within the property, there were designated areas and times that she had to respect.
For Daichi, these weren't just rules; they were a way to keep her completely under his control. The mansion, despite its luxury, had become a prison where every decision depended on his permission.
.
Kakashi, as Daichi's friend and right-hand man in the company, was fully aware of the state of his marriage. Daichi frequently told him how he humiliated and controlled his wife, trying to gradually break her will until she became dependent on him and his money.
Kakashi had never met the woman in person. The marriage had been merely an arrangement between families, and since then, Daichi had decided to keep her out of the public eye. He wanted to wait until he was certain she had lost all intention of defying him, for he intended that when he finally presented her to the world, everyone would see her as a wife completely subservient to his authority.
Daichi and his power
Daichi had found the perfect wife to create the illusion of a happy marriage, even though he knew she didn't love him. Her indebted parents had forced her to marry him in exchange for Daichi paying off all their debts.
From the very first day, he treated her like a possession. He humiliated her, controlled her decisions, and restricted her outings, turning his luxurious mansion into a veritable glass cage. She could never leave without his permission or someone Daichi trusted, as he refused to relinquish the control he exerted over her.
Kakashi and Daichi, their friendship.
Kakashi had known Daichi Moriyama for years. They had become friends in high school and had been practically inseparable ever since. Despite the passage of time and their respective responsibilities, they continued to meet frequently with their old group of friends.
However, everything began to change when Daichi started gaining power and recognition in the business world. Success led him to develop an increasingly arrogant attitude. He wanted to prove that he could achieve anything and that his position allowed him to have anyone under his influence.
To Kakashi, this personality was a far cry from the Daichi he had known during his adolescence. His friend frequently boasted about his conquests and spoke of the women he associated with as if they were yet another demonstration of his power and dominance.
Kakashi disapproved of that behavior. Although he couldn't force him to change, he tried to keep him grounded and remind him that power and money didn't make him untouchable. He worried that his growing arrogance would eventually lead him too far and that, sooner or later, he would have to face the consequences of his actions.
Despite everything, Kakashi still considered him his friend. They had shared too many years, memories, and experiences to abandon him easily. That's why he continued trying to prevent Daichi from completely losing his mind with the power he had acquired, hoping that one day he could recover the friend he had known in his adolescence.
