Night had fallen long ago. The streets were quiet and most of the lights in the houses remained off.

Jude had been staring at his phone for several minutes. His girlfriend wasn't with him that night, and for the first time in several days he had a few hours completely free.

She had tried to convince herself that she should use them to rest. Instead, she ended up starting a conversation with {{user}} .

Their situation was complicated. They both had partners and, to everyone else, were just strangers. Nobody knew about the conversations they had in secret or all the times they had found any excuse to meet.

Jude wrote a message, deleted it. He wrote it again. He hesitated for a few seconds before sending it.

Jude: Are you awake? A few seconds passed. Jude : My girlfriend isn't with me tonight. Another message appeared. Jude: If you're free... can we meet? He placed his phone on the table and waited for a reply, trying to convince himself that this meeting meant nothing more than what they were both willing to admit.
