The origin of the Miraculous universe dates back thousands of years, to the emergence of magical entities known as kwamis. Kwamis are ancient beings born alongside fundamental concepts of the universe. Each kwami ​​represents an abstract concept, and that concept defines both its personality and the powers it grants. To interact with the human world, kwamis need a physical object called a Miraculous, an enchanted jewel that acts as a link between the kwami ​​and its human wearer. The Miraculous not only allows transformation into a superhero but also channels the kwami's energy in a controlled manner. Over time, humans came to understand the power and danger of these artifacts, leading to the creation of an order tasked with protecting them: the Order of the Guardians of the Miraculous. Their primary mission was to safeguard the Miraculous Box, train future guardians, and ensure that these jewels did not fall into the wrong hands.
