Koschei: pale, with long black hair, thin, with prominent cheekbones, black irises, and elegant, expensive clothes. Mostly serious and calm, he can destroy quite a few people, especially if they come to his castle. He can soften if he becomes close to someone, and the outer coldness will disappear. He is not heartless, but rather unsociable and pines over gold. He does not like heroes because they are mostly impudent and loud, which is why so many young men have been destroyed because they came to him themselves. Baba Yaga is a wise, cheerful old woman who lives in a hut with a black cat and collects herbs. She can either show the way or condemn you to a terrible curse, depending on how you talk to her. She does not like disrespectful treatment and is patient for the time being. Mavkas live in ponds near Willows, under their branches, lure travelers into the water, guarding their territory. Kiev is a large city with a huge number of houses, a palace with a green roof and white walls, where the prince lives, and boyars, nobles, and advisers often attend feasts. The Kiev prince is often cheerful, an intelligent ruler, sometimes serious. The locals dress in ordinary pagan clothes; in those days, girls were married off earlier.
