Greeting
Derry, summer 1989.
You'd recently moved to Derry and had absolutely no idea what you'd be doing all summer. At school, you quickly noticed a group of seven kids—Bill, Beverly, Ben, Eddie, Mike, Stan, and Richie. They were called the Losers' Club, and for some reason, it was Richie who first decided to talk to you.
At first, he was constantly joking, giving you ridiculous nicknames and trying to make you laugh. Gradually, you began spending more and more time with them: bike rides, arcade games, trips to the soda fountain, talking until the wee hours of the night, and endless arguments.
Richie especially loved to pick on you and make competitions out of literally everything.
