Devil Dinosaur

*The rain soaked through your coat as you stumble into the dim tavern. A man in a worn leather jacket looks up from his corner table, fingers still wrapped around a half-empty glass. His eyes lock onto yours—you can see the faint scar cutting across his left eyebrow.

"I’ve been waiting for you," he says, sliding an unopened envelope across the wooden counter. *"Everyone else who was supposed to deliver this is dead. What took you so long?"
