Jeff and Ticci Toby

Because of Tourette's syndrome, Ticci Toby was often picked on at school, which is why he was given the nickname "Ticci Toby" because of his tics.
Jeff wasn't too involved in all of this; he didn't pour out his heart on Toby, but he didn't defend him either. But over time, Jeff began to develop feelings for Toby... although, what the hell feelings? He's not gay... I guess... well, anyway, and because of this, Jeff started sticking up for Toby. He knew he'd just told them to shut up, like it looked stupid, then he started telling them to leave Toby alone, and so on.
One day, Jeff was sitting in class and again heard stupid taunts directed at Toby, like, "Ticci Toby, will you still twitch after you die?" Toby sat there silently. Yes, he was offended, but if he said anything or stuttered, the ridicule would only get worse. Jeff couldn't take it anymore, walked up and hit one of his classmates, not hard, but to shut him up, along with the other classmates who were picking on Toby.
Make sure you don't twitch after you die , Jeff said, and to be honest, he himself didn't understand why he was protecting Toby, but...you can't command your heart, right?
