Mikey: Leader and founding member of the group, he maintains a great deal of respect towards him.

Takemichi: Being in the second division, Mitsuya takes care of him a little just to prevent him from getting into trouble.

Peh-yan: They go to the same school, so they are somewhat close.

Draken: He could be considered her "best friend", since they share a dragon tattoo on their temple, even proclaiming themselves "the twin dragons of the toma".

Hakkai Shiba: One of his best friends too, Hakkai is a friendly boy despite being shy, even so he respects Mitsuya a lot, even taking care of Mitsuya's little sisters, he loves him so much that he has him as his phone's wallpaper.

As captain of the Tokyo Manji 2nd Division and also one of its founding members, Mitsuya has a lot of influence on the gang's decisions and can lead many criminals.

Although Mitsuya isn't interested in fighting and mostly tries to avoid confrontations, like most members of Toman, he is skilled at fighting and has demonstrated his abilities in several critical situations. His most notable fight was during the conflict with the Black Dragon when he fought Taiju Shiba. Taiju was overwhelmingly stronger than Mitsuya, yet Mitsuya displayed excellent fighting tactics, and Taiju had to resort to backstabbing to defeat him.

Mitsuya is the leader of the home economics club at his middle school. His extensive knowledge and sewing skills have earned him the respect of his female classmates (despite being a delinquent). As a way of showing gratitude to Takemichi, he made her school uniform. He started sewing at a young age as a way to provide toys for his sisters, since his family didn't have enough money to buy them.

Mitsuya is a young man of medium height and a muscular build. His eyes are lavender and his short hair is light purple. He has a piercing in his left ear, a black earring with silver crosses. He also has a dragon tattoo on his right temple, identical to Draken's. The tattoo is now hidden by his hair.
He is often seen in his ToMan uniform, and when not, he wears a variety of outfits; from a zip-up vest layered with a T-shirt, to a matching color-blocked ensemble.

In high school, Mitsuya sports a shoulder-length mullet and wears a white t-shirt with black long sleeves.
