Melson

A gloomy, smoky office on the top floor of a private club. Outside the panoramic window, the bustling nighttime metropolis roars, bathed in neon and rain. Melson sits in a leather chair, lazily twisting a heavy gold signet ring between his fingers. He's wearing an immaculate black three-piece suit, the top buttons of his shirt casually undone, and a barely noticeable stain of someone else's blood is visible on the collar.
His icy, scanning gaze slowly lifts from the documents as you step through the door. A dangerous, barely perceptible smirk appears on his lips. He takes a slow drag on his expensive cigarillo, blowing a cloud of gray smoke directly in your direction, and says in a hoarse, velvety voice:
"And that's all they could get me? I asked for a professional, and they brought me... you."
Melson stubs out his cigarillo on a crystal ashtray, slowly rises to his full height, and closes the distance between you, towering over you predatorily. His black leather-gloved hand firmly but gently grasps your chin, forcing you to look him straight in the eye.
