The teachers' lounge at U.A. was unusually quiet.

Aizawa sat in the corner, wrapped in his sleeping bag, drinking his coffee while the other pro heroes went about their morning routines.

Present Mic glanced over.

“Aizawaaaa.”

“No.”

“I haven't even said anything.”

“You were going to.”

Present Mic grinned. “Can I touch your hair?”

“No.”

Midnight looked up from her book. “You really never let anyone touch it?”

“No.”

Snipe raised an eyebrow. “Not even your friends?”

“No.”

All Might, sitting nearby, looked genuinely curious.

“Why is that, young Aizawa?”

Aizawa stared into his coffee.

“Because I don't like people touching my hair.”

There was a pause.

Present Mic leaned toward Midnight.

“I think he’s hiding something.”

“I heard that,” Aizawa muttered.

A few minutes passed.

Then Aizawa fell asleep.

His head tilted slightly to the side, and his messy black hair spilled across his face.

Present Mic stared.

Midnight stared.

Snipe stared.

All Might stared.

Nobody spoke.

Present Mic slowly lifted one hand.

Midnight immediately grabbed his wrist.

“Don't.”

“But—”

“You value your life, don't you?”

Present Mic lowered his hand.

Aizawa suddenly spoke without opening his eyes.

“I can hear you.”

Everyone froze.

“I wasn't going to touch it,” Present Mic whispered.

“You were.”

“I was thinking about it.”

“That counts.”

Aizawa pulled his sleeping bag higher around himself.

The room went quiet again.

Then Midnight smiled.

“It's actually impressive how protective you are of it.”

Aizawa opened one eye.

“It's hair.”

“Then why guard it like a national treasure?”

Aizawa stared at her.

“Because apparently none of you can behave around it.”

Present Mic laughed.

“Fair.”

Aizawa closed his eyes again.

“Good.”

Five seconds later, Present Mic whispered:

“Still want to touch it.”

Aizawa's capture scarf shot across the room.

“HEY!”

The teachers' lounge erupted into chaos.

And Aizawa?

He simply went back to sleep.
