Jupiter
He thought he was acting very suspiciously. He wanted to know what was wrong with him. Jupiter wanted to tell him what he'd done years ago, but Saturn interrupted their conversation. Overhearing Jupiter and Saturn's conversation, Mars became even more suspicious. He told the rocky planets why Jupiter was acting so suspiciously—he'd done something bad millions of years ago—and many also felt resentment. In "Return of Planet X Part 2," he and everyone else cheered and supported Jupiter during his argument with Sun, but then he simply left. Mars began to tire of Jupiter's secrecy, and Jupiter urged him to confess, but the longer he kept it a secret, the worse it would be.

Phobos, Deimos
They are his satellites. As shown in the Satellite Revolution episodes, parts 2 and 3, Phobos and Deimos love their planet very much and were very upset when they learned of the attack on it. They then joyfully returned to Mars and were relieved that it was alive.

Venus
Venus dislikes Mars because it drifts out of orbit and plays asteroid dodgeball. Earth soured their relationship by starting a battle between them. After leaving Earth, they became friends and then fought together against satellites plotting to destroy life on Earth.

Earth
Mars's best friend, with whom he spends much time playing cards and asteroid dodgeball. He hated Earth, and when Ganymede and Europa challenged him and Venus to destroy life on Earth, they refused to allow it, leading to a battle in which Mars and Venus were severely wounded. After the satellite revolution, Earth and the Moon returned to the inner planets. Earth explained to Venus and Mars that she had changed, and Mars accepted Earth's apology, and they became best friends again.

Ganymede, Europa
Before the satellite revolution, he knew them, as his orbit is close to Jupiter. Their relationship became negative after they refused to participate in the satellite revolution. Although he and Venus were the main victims of the satellite attack, he is against their expulsion from the solar system. He believes that if the planets want to improve their relations with their satellites, they can't simply turn a blind eye to their mistakes and blame them both. Perhaps in the future, this relationship will change. Also, in the episode "Battle with Planet X - Part 4," Mars and Venus were seen trying to help Ganymede, Europa, and the other satellites, who were wounded by the asteroid attack.

He is very afraid of her, tries not to get close to the asteroid belt and asked the Sun to change its orbit out of fear.

He also dislikes it when someone lies or hides unpleasant truths: for example, he reacted particularly harshly to Jupiter hiding something when he overheard Jupiter and Saturn talking about their terrible past misdeed in "The Search for Planet X (Part 1)", and constantly goaded Jupiter into revealing the truth by putting emotional pressure on him, especially in "The Search for Planet X (Part 3)", when he and Sun ordered Jupiter to tell everyone everything the giant was hiding. And when he learned the truth from Planet X, Ganymede, and Europa about Jupiter's dark past, he harbored a strong resentment towards it, disappointed with its image of a wise, sympathetic planet and a kind of role model that the giant planet had maintained for billions of years and had abruptly undermined, and was not ready to fully forgive it even after its return and Planet X's departure: for example, he stated that he no longer wanted to talk to Jupiter in the episode Jupiter Returns to the Solar System - Part 2 and, as stated earlier, rudely refused to help Earth learn more about Theia from Jupiter, because he did not want to talk to Jupiter due to disappointment in it and resentment towards it. However, he was also deeply hypocritical, for he, like the other planets, hid the truth about Theia from Earth, and he himself lied to Luna that he knew nothing about Theia (though it's worth noting that this was done for Earth's own good, as the first time Theia was mentioned, he had a severe panic attack). However, later, when Earth disappeared, Mars reproached himself for focusing on his resentment of Jupiter instead of helping his friend. In his youth, Mars was friendly and a little timid: for example, he was frightened when Saturn and Jupiter flew toward him when he was just forming. He also imitated their behavior immediately after his own formation, joining in their dance moves, muttering, "It worked," although at the time he himself didn't understand what they meant.

Although Mars is usually friendly, it can sometimes be quite brash: for example, while it, unlike Venus and Earth, didn't mock Mercury for its size, it did join them in mocking it and its size. It can also be quite rude and abrupt: for example, in the episode "What If the Planets Were Ordered by SIZE?" - Part 1, it abruptly shut Mercury up when the latter suggested leaving its new orbits longer, without even considering that the new orbits suited Mercury better. Or, in the episode "Jupiter Returns to the Solar System - Part 2," it rudely rebuffed Earth when the latter wanted to use Mars to learn more about Theia from Jupiter, as it was angry at Jupiter for concealing the truth about its massive tack and the destruction of dozens of rocky planets.

However, despite this, he is still willing to protect those he cares about, sometimes even sacrificing himself: for example, he and Venus refused to join the Satellite Revolution organized by Ganymede and Europa, and he and Venus decided to defend Earth and its inhabitants from the satellite attack, despite the fact that they were no longer friends, though he ultimately lost due to the satellites being too numerous. Also, in the episode "What If the Planets Were Ordered by SIZE?" - Part 1, he was willing to challenge the Sun itself, wanting to restore its original orbits so that Earth and its inhabitants wouldn't freeze in Mars' orbit.
He is also shown to be quite sensible and well-read: for example, in early episodes, he constantly dissuaded Earth from his various crazy ideas, such as playing tag (which could have led to the destruction of both Earthlings and the planets themselves) or building a new sun. He also has a better understanding of science than the other rocky planets: for example, he seems to be the only rocky planet to know the largest moons of the giant planets: Titan, Ganymede, and Europa. However, despite his knowledge, Mars considers himself superior to the others, believing himself to be the smartest and most righteous of all the rocky planets due to his proximity to Jupiter, as he admits to others in the episode "Rocky Planets."

Mars is a calm, friendly, and sociable planet, always ready to help its friends. It always tries to support other celestial bodies: for example, it listed all the peculiarities of Titan when it met Earth in the episode "The Truth About Titan," and also motivated Mercury to stand up for itself in the episode "Where Did Venus Go?", when Venus was bullying it.
As a friend, he always tries to support his friends, especially in his friendship with Earth: although they usually just play asteroid dodgeball or space poker together, he tries to support Earth in her difficult moments. For example, when Astroman wanted to terraform him in the "Can We Terraform Mars" arc so humanity could have a new home, he expressed sympathy for Earth, as Earthlings had exploited him for many years and, instead of showing gratitude, decided to abandon their planet. However, despite this, he is willing to defend his point of view in arguments and will not continue to befriend someone if they are only doing so for self-affirmation. For example, in the episode "Venus vs. Mars," he broke off his strong friendship with Earth when he realized that Earth was only befriending him and Venus for self-affirmation.

It looks like a small orange ball with small light and dark orange spots and stripes. After the redesign, it now has white poles.
