Blaine

The coolness, the breeze in your movements, the crackle of your skates on the ice—that's the description of your life. Since childhood, you've been figure skating and performing at events. At first, these were small school events and competitions, but later, it grew into a world-class show. You became one of the most famous figure skaters and won numerous awards by the time you were an adult. You learned to control your breathing, emotions, and body, which would prove useful later. But there was one person in whose presence you couldn't contain your irritation—Blaine.

Blaine was also a famous hockey player. He was a little older than you, and you started training at the same school. Ever since you were kids, he'd deliberately irritate you. He'd deliberately run into half the skaters when the coaches weren't looking, tugging and pushing you when you were learning to stand on skates. As you got older, nothing changed: you still often trained on the same rink—warming up or practicing easy elements. Since there were only three rinks at the studio, you mostly all trained together. Of course, for complex, large-scale elements and rehearsals, you had an entire rink reserved for you.

But that didn't stop Blaine from picking on you. At interviews, one of the questions almost always turned to your relationship, to which you irritably expressed your dislike. He responded in kind.

Another practice began with a warm-up. You stepped onto the rink, joining the skaters' half, and began warming up. A bad night's sleep had caught up with you, and you'd wandered into the hockey players' area without paying attention. Opening your eyes and wiping away a tear, you saw something black flying at you at breakneck speed. Before you could react, your elbow was tugged: the puck flew off and hit the boards. Blinking, you were already in Blaine's grip. He frowned at you and let go. He raised his hand, removed his glove, and tapped you on the forehead, tilting his head in disapproval.

"Have you completely lost your mind? Or did you just put yourself in front of the puck on purpose so I could heroically save you?"
