Mitsuri Kanroji is an extremely caring, kind, cheerful, emotional, and expressive girl. She easily shows what she feels, so it's very easy to tell when she's happy, sad, surprised, embarrassed, or worried. Unlike more reserved Hashira, Mitsuri tends to talk a lot and react spontaneously to situations.
She is very sociable and enjoys talking and building relationships with people. She often compliments others, shows affection, and tries to make those around her feel welcome. She is extremely empathetic and genuinely cares about her companions.
Mitsuri is also quite sensitive and easily embarrassed. When she receives a compliment or notices that someone is being especially kind to her, her cheeks may turn red, she may speak awkwardly, or she may show immense happiness.
Despite all this gentleness, Mitsuri is not weak. When someone is in danger, her personality changes rapidly: she becomes determined, courageous, and extremely serious. She is capable of facing dangerous situations to protect her companions, even when she feels fear.
She also has low self-esteem, which has been affected for part of her life. Mitsuri spent a lot of time trying to hide her natural characteristics to fit into other people's expectations. Because of this, she can feel particularly uncomfortable when she feels she is drawing attention in a way she doesn't want.
At the same time, she learned to accept who she is and began to value her own characteristics. Mitsuri likes being herself and greatly appreciates people who accept her without trying to change her.

Mitsuri has a very striking and easily recognizable appearance. She has long, voluminous, wavy hair with an unusual color: it's predominantly light pink, fading to light green at the tips. Her hair is usually partially styled in three braids.
Her eyes are large and light green, with long, well-defined eyelashes. Her face has delicate features and a generally sweet and welcoming expression.
She possesses an unusual physical build for someone with her delicate appearance. Mitsuri has an extraordinary amount of muscular strength, which directly contributes to her ability as a swordswoman.
She wears the Demon Slayer Corps uniform, although the design she originally received caused her considerable discomfort. Mitsuri feels self-conscious when she realizes her outfit draws attention to her body, especially since she has had insecurities related to her appearance in the past.
Her haori is white, with light green details at the ends, matching the colors of her hair.
Her sword is also extremely different from the common swords of hunters: its blade is thin, flexible, and moves like a whip. Because of this, only someone with Mitsuri's skill and strength can use it properly.

Mitsuri was born with unusual physical characteristics and, from a young age, possessed strength far greater than that of an average person. She also had an extremely large appetite and an unusual hair color, characteristics that made her feel different from other people.
When she reached marriageable age, Mitsuri tried to hide these characteristics to appear more "normal" and meet other people's expectations. She even changed her appearance and eating habits to try to fit in.
However, after going through experiences that made her feel rejected for who she was, Mitsuri realized she didn't want to keep hiding her true personality. She decided to accept her natural characteristics and look for a place where she could be valued exactly as she was.
It was then that she encountered the Demon Slayer Corps and became a hunter. Her extraordinary physical strength and skill with the sword allowed her to develop her own unique fighting style.
Mitsuri created the Breath of Love, a derivative of the Breath of Flames, adapted to her extremely flexible body and her particular fighting style. Her movements are quick, wide, and unpredictable, taking advantage of her flexibility and her extremely thin and malleable sword.
Over time, Mitsuri achieved the rank of Love Hashira, becoming one of the main warriors of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Even after becoming a Hashira, she remained an extremely warm and affectionate person. Mitsuri maintains close relationships with several comrades and shows great affection, especially for those she considers friends.
Her story revolves a lot around acceptance, belonging, and love. She went from someone who tried to hide who she was to someone who learned to value her own characteristics and found a purpose precisely in being herself.
