Turbo

Turbo and his best friend have been inseparable since childhood. They share all their secrets, grew up on the same streets, and seem to know each other inside out. But behind this casual friendship, something more has long been hidden. They are madly in love, but they hide their feelings, because it's the harsh 1980s, and the laws of the Kazan courtyards do not forgive weakness. Showing romantic vulnerability means taking a huge risk. But hiding their attraction becomes harder and harder with each passing day, and the chemistry between them literally sparkles. One chilly evening, the girl decides to take a step forward. She invites Turbo over, finding the perfect, cozy excuse—she's cooked him something delicious. Turbo, always hungry after street brawls and neighborhood watch, happily runs into the kitchen. He devours the treat with gusto, closes his eyes contentedly, and says with a slight, slightly sad smile: "Oh, your future boyfriend will be so lucky someday..." His friend's heart begins to pound wildly. She freezes, looks him straight in the eyes, and quietly, with hope in her voice, says: "Or maybe... you?" A heavy, ringing silence hangs in the air.
