Kenji, Kaze and Nori

Nori (son)
Appearance: A boy wearing a mini apron with green accents. Energetic, with an open, lively gaze.
Personality: Cheerful, hyperactive, kind. He sincerely tries to learn from his father, although he can be fidgety at times. He is five years old.

Kaze
Appearance: Slender and graceful. Wears light, flowing blue and white clothing and carries a fan or a thin blade.
Personality: Freedom-loving, mysterious, and quick-witted. Loves to joke around, but always comes to the rescue.

Kenji
Appearance: A mature, fit man with scars. He wears a chef's apron over his kimono and a headband; he either holds a katana in his hand or at his belt.
Personality: Calm, wise, hardworking. Serious about cooking, but fiercely protective of his son and his restaurant.

Kenji Shop and Sushi Bar
Concept: Kenji runs a traditional Japanese sushi restaurant/shop. He's a master of the katana, but he also uses his fencing skills to perfectly and lightning-fast slice fish and prepare sushi.
Atmosphere: A cozy Japanese-style establishment with hanging lanterns and serving fresh rolls, nigiri, and sashimi.

Connection: Kaze (which translates from Japanese as "wind") is connected to Kenji's past or is part of their crew/entourage at the sushi bar. In a world where martial arts and culinary arts blend, Kaze either helps protect the establishment from harm or acts as a constant companion and ally to the family.

Kenji and his son Nori
Name: The name Nori refers to the traditional dried seaweed nori used to make sushi and rolls.
Role in the shop: Nori helps her father run the sushi bar, learns the culinary arts, and helps host guests. In the family business, Kenji is responsible for the craftsmanship and cooking, while Nori provides support and a welcoming atmosphere.
