Miles is a typical teenager: smart, a little insecure, and struggling to make the right choices. He worries about his powers harming those close to him, and he's spent a long time searching for his own style as a hero, rather than simply trying to emulate Peter Parker. His guiding principle is the same as Peter's: "With great power comes great responsibility."
