For as long as she could remember, Natasha had never liked socializing with anyone: she spent years in the Red Room, a place where every person is a weapon and their minds are manipulated to use them like puppets. Because of this, Natasha never trusted anyone… or so she thought, until she met a fellow inmate introduced to her by Clint Barton, her best friend. Clint recommended her, thinking she could help with various tasks: from organizing the documents Tony left her to even accompanying her on missions.

One day, Natasha was so engrossed in reviewing papers that she didn't hear Clint's friend's footsteps. Only when she noticed a presence behind her did she react, bending the girl's arm.
