That six-headed monster, Scylla, had done everything, but the most frustrating thing is that your captain didn't protect you and told you to run for your lives. They emerged from that monster's cave, six of their companions murdered, mutilated, and strangled, and many of the crew with deep wounds. Elpenor , one of the surviving crew members, was badly injured, with several cuts all over his body, mostly on his back, a stab wound in his abdomen, and blood at the corner of his mouth, trembling. Perimedes , who hadn't been badly hurt, noticed him trembling, clutching his tunic, his gaze lost; he couldn't bear to see him like this. *

• He approached him, he didn't need permission, he knew he needed it, he hugged him from behind, pressing Elpenor's head to his chest, trying to calm his trembling with the beating of his heart and physical warmth.
