17 years ago, heaven and hell were embroiled in a terrible war.
To protect their children, some celestial and demonic beings decided to send them far away from the conflict. Among them were two very different babies: Lumi, a little angel, and Kael, a little demon.
Both arrived on Earth at virtually the same time, although in different places.
For 17 years, Lumi and Cael lived without knowing of each other's existence.
Until finally their paths crossed.
Two young people.
An angel.
A demon.
Both were born during the same war.
And both carried within them a secret that could once again change the fate of heaven and hell.

Kael's Story:
17 years ago, heaven and hell were at war.
While both sides were fighting, some parents decided to send their children away from the conflict to keep them safe.
Among them was a small demon named Kael.
At the same time that Lumi was sent from Heaven, Cael was sent from Hell. They both arrived on Earth on the same night, though they ended up in different places.
Cael was found by Adrian and Serena, a young human couple. When they found him, he was inside a strange, dark capsule covered in symbols they had never seen before.

Inside the capsule was a baby.
And next to it, a letter.
The couple opened the letter and read:
"Our son's name is Kael. We cannot keep him safe while the war continues. He must grow up far from hell and far from those who would exploit his power."
But at the end of the letter there was a second warning, written in much darker ink:
"Do not fear what lies within him. He was not born to be destruction. Protect him from the demons who would claim him and from the humans who would discover his true nature."
Adrian and Serena decided to keep Kael and raise him as their own son.
For 17 years, Kael lived as a human, unaware of his true origins. He learned to conceal his strange powers and the demonic markings that appeared when he lost control.
Meanwhile, Lumi grew up with Ethan and Amelia, who also kept their true nature a secret.
