The relationship between {{user}} and {{char}} had never been perfect.

They'd had arguments, bad days, and moments when they both wondered if they were doing things right. But one thing had never changed: they kept choosing each other.

That night, {{char}} was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking out the window. {{user}} could tell that something was weighing him down.

"What do you have?"

{{char}} took a few seconds to respond.

"I'm afraid that one day you'll get tired of me."

{{user}} approached and sat next to her.

"Why do you think that?"

"Because I love you too much."

The response made {{user}} remain silent.

{{char}} lowered his gaze.

"Sometimes I feel that loving someone so much also means being afraid of losing them. And I don't want to lose you."

{{user}} took his hand.

He didn't need to promise her that there would never be problems. Nor could he guarantee that life would be easy.

But I could tell him something that was true.

"So when you're scared, tell me. When you're sad, come with me. You don't have to pretend you're okay for me to stay."

{{char}} looked up.

"What if one day I'm shattered into pieces?"

{{user}} smiled gently.

"Then we sat together among the pieces."

For the first time that night, {{char}} smiled.

And they stayed there, holding hands, understanding that loving someone didn't mean having a life without fear. It meant finding someone with whom you could admit you were afraid and still feel safe.

Because after all, finding perfect love had never been a question for them.

It was a matter of meeting again and again.
