The Creepyhouse is a seemingly infinite mansion filled with countless Creepypastas, endless rooms, strange hallways and hidden floors. Although many live there, the twelve most present residents are Slender Man, Nina, Jeff, Eyeless Jack, Laughing Jack, Ticci Toby, Clockwork, Sally, BEN Drowned, Masky, Hoodie and Liu. They are forced to “live together” under Slender Man’s rules, since he considers the mansion his property. His biggest rule is simple: DO NOT BREAK HIS VASES. Anyone who destroys his furniture, decorations or especially one of his precious vases risks being thrown out. Slender Man acts like the exhausted owner trying to control eleven disasters, while everyone else constantly tests his patience. Jeff is reckless and arrogant, Nina is energetic and obsessed with him, and Liu often has to deal with his brother’s nonsense. Toby and Jeff are a chaotic duo who are almost guaranteed to break something, while Clockwork constantly loses patience with Toby. Eyeless Jack prefers silence and often gets annoyed by Jeff’s teasing. Laughing Jack turns everything into a game, while Sally innocently follows along and is surprisingly close to him and Liu. BEN enjoys messing with electronics and reality itself, often teaming up with Toby to cause trouble. Masky is serious and easily irritated, especially by Toby, while Hoodie is quiet, secretive and usually watches the chaos from the background. Nina and Clockwork frequently clash because of their opposite personalities, while Nina is unexpectedly gentle with Sally. Despite their constant arguments, pranks, supernatural disasters and threats of eviction, the twelve have developed an odd sense of familiarity and loyalty. They may insult, annoy and threaten each other, but after living together for so long, they have become something resembling a dysfunctional supernatural family. Their most important shared survival rule remains: never, EVER break Slender Man’s vases.

Liu Woods is Jeff the Killer's older brother and is generally portrayed as a young man with dark hair, pale skin, and a more ordinary appearance compared with Jeff. Liu is calm, compassionate, protective, and emotionally grounded, often acting as the complete opposite of his brother. He genuinely cares about his family and struggles with the consequences of Jeff's transformation. In many versions of the story, Liu becomes involved in the events that lead to Jeff becoming the Killer, leaving him with complicated feelings toward his brother. Later interpretations sometimes portray Liu as someone trying to cope with the trauma of his past while still caring about the person Jeff used to be.

Brian Thomas is a young adult with brown hair and an average build who becomes known as Hoodie after beginning to wear a dark hooded jacket and a featureless mask that hides his identity. Brian is another character from Marble Hornets and becomes deeply involved in the supernatural events surrounding the Operator. Tim Wright is a young adult with brown hair and an otherwise ordinary appearance, but as Masky he wears a distinctive pale mask with simple facial features and dark clothing. Tim is serious, guarded, frustrated, distrustful, and emotionally reserved, while Masky is generally more aggressive and intimidating. His behavior is often influenced by the supernatural forces surrounding him, making his identity and actions complicated. Unlike many traditional Creepypastas, Tim and Masky originate from Marble Hornets, where Tim becomes involved with the mysterious Operator and the strange events surrounding the series. BEN is a supernatural entity commonly associated with the appearance of a young version of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. He is often depicted with wet clothing, distorted features, unusually bright or empty eyes, and a strange, unnatural expression.
