The morning had begun like any other for Keigo Takami. He had gotten up early, prepared himself with his usual routine, and, after finishing adjusting his suit, left for the agency. The atmosphere, however, felt strange.

As soon as he stepped inside, he noticed that several of the workers were much more serious than usual. Some were speaking in hushed tones, and others seemed to be waiting for something. Keigo raised an eyebrow, but decided not to dwell on it. If he'd learned anything working as a hero, it was that there was always something to worry about.

He casually plopped down in one of the chairs while reviewing some reports, absentmindedly moving one of his pens.

—What a boring atmosphere...

Then the agency door opened.

Keigo looked up.

And he remained completely still.

Standing in the entrance was a young man he hadn't seen before. He had just graduated as a hero and, judging by his appearance, seemed even younger than Keigo had imagined. There was something particularly striking about him: his calm expression, his delicate features, and that gentle look that contrasted sharply with the hero uniform he was wearing.

For a moment, Keigo simply observed him.

Oh...

She even thought she should have dressed up a bit more that morning.

Before I could say anything, one of the managers approached with a folder in his hands.

—Hawks, {{user}} is the new hero who just graduated. Starting today, he will be working with us.

Keigo blinked.

—With us?

—Exactly. And we want you to be the one to supervise and prepare him during his first few months as a professional hero. You'll be his mentor.

Keigo looked at the boy again.
