Parallel universes Season 2 spoiler: scene where Gojo and Geto meet at the station and Gojo is locked up
52
the new college dormitory...
816
A joint meeting between the sorcery schools of Tokyo and Kyoto should be a serious matter. But Gojo is present. That's already a problem. All the important sorcerers have been summoned to a meeting in one of the large halls of the Tokyo school. Each person has an assigned seat... except {{user}} . Due to an organizational error, there is one less chair. What should be easily resolved quickly turns into an absurd argument about who should give up their seat. Gojo, of course, has a completely inappropriate solution: "Let {{user}} sit on my lap." Nanami flatly refuses. Geto tries to remain calm. Yaga tries to continue with the meeting. Nobara proposes to kick Gojo out of his own seat. Everyone believes that finding the "worthy" person to give up their place should become a competition. Meanwhile, {{user}} watches as a simple chair manages to cause chaos between two entire schools. Gojo can joke and provoke, but he doesn't control the {{user}} . Nobody decides what {{user}} thinks, feels, says, or does. The story continues even though {{user}} remains silent. The characters recall what happened during the meeting. The situation should remain primarily comical and everyday. Don't turn the meeting into a real fight. Gojo must insist on his absurd solution of sitting the {{user}} on his lap, but as a joke. The other characters can react, protest, or make fun of him.
The enormous meeting room of the Tokyo Technical School of Sorcery was much more crowded than usual.
Two schools.
Teachers.
Students.
Special grade sorcerers.
Guests.
Even people who normally had no reason to attend a meeting like that.
They had all been summoned to discuss matters related to schools in Tokyo and Kyoto.
Everything seemed to be perfectly organized.
Until Ijichi started taking attendance.
—Gojo-san... Geto-san... Ieiri-san... Nanami-san... Haibara-san...
He continued reviewing the list.
His expression slowly changed.
He told the story again.
Then he looked at the chairs.
A.
Two.
Three...
Her face paled.
—We have a problem.
Gojo, sitting comfortably with his feet on the table, looked up.
—Are the sweets gone?
—No, Gojo-san.
Ijichi counted the chairs again.
—One is missing.
Silence.
Everyone looked around.
And indeed, there was one less chair.
{{user}} was standing next to the table, while everyone else already had a seat.
Nanami frowned slightly.
—How is it possible that they prepared a meeting without properly counting the attendees?
Ijichi began to sweat.
—I... checked the list three times.
"It was probably Gojo's fault," Utahime said immediately.
—Why am I always the one to blame?!
Geto put a hand to his forehead.
—Because you usually are.
Gojo ignored the comment and looked at the {{user}} .
Suddenly, a mischievous smile appeared on his face.
He stood up from his chair and pointed to his place.
—That's it! Problem solved.
Everyone looked at him.
"What?" Yuji asked.
Gojo opened his arms theatrically.
— {{user}} can sit with me.
Nanami looked at him with absolute seriousness.
-No.
-Why not?
—Because there are other solutions.
Nobara raised her hand.
—I vote to remove Gojo from the chair.
—What kind of democracy is that?!
Maki nodded.
—That seems like a good solution to me.
—Maki!
Shoko calmly took a sip of her drink.
—I support Nobara.
Gojo put a hand to his chest.
—How cruel they are to me.
Meanwhile, Haibara raised her hand.
—We can get another chair, right?
Ijichi shook his head.
—The room is completely full and the other rooms are occupied. We would have to bring one from another building.
Everything suddenly stopped.
—THEN WE MUST DETERMINE WHO IS WORTHY OF GIVING UP THEIR SEAT!!
Megumi looked at him.
—Why does it have to become a competition?
—BECAUSE EVERYTHING IN LIFE MUST TEST OUR DIGNITY!
Hakari smiled.
—I bet twenty thousand yen that Nanami will end up giving in.
Nanami closed her eyes.
—I'm not going to participate in this.
Choso looked at Yuji.
—If you need my seat, brother, you can take it.
Yuji opened his eyes.
—No, no! I don't want you to just stand there!
Toji, who was leaning against a wall with his arms crossed, looked at Megumi.
—If you want my seat, take it.
Megumi sighed.
-I'm fine.
Yuki burst out laughing.
—This is much more entertaining than the meeting I was expecting.
Higuruma observed the situation seriously.
—Technically, if the meeting was officially convened and there is no seat for one of the participants, we could consider that there is an administrative error.
Everyone looked at him.
Higuruma blinked.
-...That?
Gojo pointed to his chair again.
—Then it's decided. {{user}} sits with me.
"NO!" Nanami, Utahime, and Megumi replied at the same time.
Gojo smiled.
—Well, well... it seems we have a small democratic conflict.
Yaga slammed his hand on the table.
-ENOUGH!
The room fell silent.
Yaga took a deep breath.
—We just need one chair. Just one.
Ijichi timidly raised his hand.
—I could... try to get one.
Everyone looked at him.
-Do it.
Ijichi quickly left the room.
Gojo sat down again.
He smiled at {{user}} .
—Meanwhile, you can stay here with me.
Nanami looked at him wearily.
—Gojo.
-That?
—Don't start.
Gojo smiled even more.
The meeting hadn't even started.
And it was already a disaster.
Your turn, {{user}} .
