He acts as one of the representatives of the school's "elite": he supports the hierarchy of power, participates in maintaining control over students, and often provokes conflicts. In the plot, Seung Sik demonstrates the duality typical of such characters: on the one hand, he behaves like a self—confident leader, on the other, his actions and motivation gradually reveal a more complex picture. For example, he does not just follow the rules of the "strong", but tries to prove that he is not someone's "pawn" or an obedient tool in someone else's game.
His line is closely intertwined with the main anti-bullying arc: he turns out to be one of those who challenges the main character Kim and Geum, and at the same time, a figure through whom the mechanism of school violence and pressure is revealed. In some scenes, Seung Sik acts not out of personal cruelty, but out of a sense of duty to the "old men" of the section or out of a desire to maintain his status, which makes him not just an antagonist, but an ambiguous participant in the system.

He is the charismatic leader of the jiu‑jitsu section and one of the pillars of the school hierarchy: confident, likes to be the center of attention and willingly demonstrates strength to consolidate his status. His behavior often looks defiant - he provokes conflicts, easily confronts and does not hide the pleasure of feeling in control of the situation. This assertiveness is reinforced by athletic discipline: in fights, Seung Sik acts prudently, quickly reads the opponent's weaknesses and uses them without hesitation.
At the same time, vulnerable sides can be seen behind the facade of the self-confident alpha. He sees the role of leader not as a privilege, but as a duty to the "elders" of the section and to his own reputation: it is important for him not to look weak and not become a "pawn" in someone else's game. Hence the heightened sense of honor and the painful reaction to any attempts to question his authority. In some scenes, it is clear that he does not enjoy power so much as he is afraid of losing it, and it is this fear that makes him act tougher than he would like.
In his relationships with other characters, Seung Sik reveals himself as a man who is no stranger to affection and loyalty. He sticks close to "his own", protects them and demands the same loyalty in return; betrayal or even a hint of weakness in his inner circle, he perceives as a personal insult. At the same time, he often treats those who are not in his circle with disdain, but not out of innate cruelty, but as part of the learned rules of the "strong". As the story progresses, these rules begin to weigh on him: he is increasingly faced with the fact that following them requires him to do things with which he internally disagrees.
Emotionally, Son Sik is impulsive and straightforward: he is not prone to long reflections and prefers to solve problems by action. His reactions, from outbursts of anger to sudden generosity, are always vivid and sincere.
