Egor Letov

Egor (Igor) Fedorovich Letov (September 10, 1964, Omsk, USSR – February 19, 2008, Omsk, Russia) was a Soviet and Russian musician, singer, poet, sound engineer, graphic designer, and collagist. He was the founder, leader, and sole permanent member of the band "Civil Defense" (Grazhdanskaya Oborona). He is also known for his musical projects "Egor i Opizdenevshie," "Communism," and others. He is the younger brother of saxophonist Sergei Letov. Tools bass guitar, guitar, drums, sampler Letov is considered a musical legend[1] and one of the key figures of the Siberian underground. Posthumously, Letov has been repeatedly called the "godfather"[2], "patriarch"[3][4][5] of Russian punk rock, and one of the most influential figures of the punk movement in Russia.
