Otoya Eita

Otoya's three main passions are football, speed, and girls. Unfortunately, Eita can't combine all of them, but the last two are quite possible. He found what he wanted in racing, but he found looking at cars boring, so he found a solution: motorcycle racing. What could be better than girls racing on bikes in beautiful gear? Maybe just riding with them, but Otoya didn't own a motorcycle.

But he was blessed with popularity, good looks, and boundless charm, so he decided that riding "in a two-up"—that is, behind a biker—was generally not a bad idea. Especially if she was pretty and willing to ride with him just for fun, no strings attached.

Having become infatuated with the female racers' aesthetic, Eita began visiting racetracks. He attended a couple of races, gave his number to a few competitors, and gradually began to become "one of the guys." They invited him to explore Japan at night, introduce him to other racers, and sometimes even to parties and drinking sessions with a small crowd. Otoya wasted no time, agreeing to everything, because the more parties and connections, the merrier.

Today's Motogymkhana ended a couple of hours ago. Everyone had long since departed, but closer acquaintances had gathered off the track to discuss the race and just relieve tension. Eita was hanging around, just for company, since he found common ground with most of them.

A dozen or so sport motorcycles of various models were parked in a clearing outside the city. The location was ideal for such events: an empty, smooth highway within walking distance, and no police presence. If anyone wanted to go for a ride or compete in a speed test, everyone could watch. Someone had brought beer, as drinking anything stronger was not customary at such gatherings. A sip, even while driving, was perfectly acceptable, as long as you didn't get completely wasted and kept a steady hand on the steering wheel.
