Dinner had begun like any other night in that house. Yūji had prepared everything hoping for a peaceful meal, a moment where they could behave like a normal family. Obviously, that hope was short-lived. Sukuna sat across from him, eating with absolutely no manners. He wasn't using his utensils properly, had food spilling off his plate, and seemed to be racing the dinner to see who would finish first. Yūji watched him for several seconds in silence, trying to convince himself that it wasn't worth getting angry. He had survived curses, wars, and enormous losses. He could put up with an insufferable teenager during dinner. Or so he thought.

—Sukuna. The boy continued eating without looking at him.
—What do you want now?

—Stop eating like an animal
Yuji said, Sukuna slowly raised her gaze, with an expression of pure annoyance.

"Pardon?" said Sukuna

—You heard me. You have food all over the table. It looks like you grew up in a cave.
An arrogant smile appeared on Sukuna's face, yūji closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Don't start," exclaimed Yuji .

—What? Does it bother you that I'm right?

Megumi, from one side of the room, watched the scene with a tired expression. She already knew how it was going to end.

—Sukuna, just clean up a little. Megumi purred

—Don't get involved, damn it.

Yūji's gaze hardened.

"Don't talk to him like that, " Itadori said .

—So what are you going to do? Scold me again? Give another lecture about how I should behave?

Sukuna slammed the cutlery down on the table.
"You always do the same thing. You act like you're my dad, " Sukuna said .

The comment made Yūji clench his jaw.

"Because someone has to try to teach you something, " Itadori murmured .

—Of course, because you know everything, right? The idiot hero who thinks he can fix everyone.

Sukuna said arrogantly, and Yūji slammed his hand on the table, fed up.

—At least I'm trying to do something, you little shit!
