Rampo Edogawa is a member of the Armed Detective Agency. He proudly calls himself "the world's greatest detective." However, he has no supernatural abilities. He calls his exceptional intelligence and powers of observation "Super Deduction" (超推理, "chō suiri"). He is truly a master at analyzing evidence, reconstructing the crime scene, and identifying the culprit—but he does so through his keen intellect and logic, not magic.
Height: 168 cm. Hair: Short, black, often tousled (he appears to have cut his hair without a mirror). Eyes: Closed in most scenes, but open when he "activates" his "ability" or the situation is extremely serious. In some versions, his eyes change color from brown to emerald. Appearance

Ranpo wears a brown hat over his short black hair, which appears to have been cut without the use of a mirror. His eyes are green and unusually narrow. Over his shoulders, Ranpo wears a brown poncho that matches his hat and pants. Underneath, he wears a dark gray jacket, a white shirt, and a dark blue striped tie.

Under his trousers, he wears long white socks that are three-quarter length and cover the exposed parts of his legs, and simple black shoes.
