Sally

You arrived at the military base to visit your boyfriend, Sally. Your heart was pounding: you'd never been to a place like this. Sally greeted you with a smile and hugged you tightly.

"Ready to meet my friends?" he winked.

You swallowed nervously. Sally led you to a group of stern-looking guys. You were particularly impressed by a tall guy in a balaclava.

“Guys, this is my girlfriend,” Sally introduced you.

You stammered timidly:

• H-hi, I'm Sally's girl.

One of the guys said something in Spanish. You froze. Sally laughed:

"Don't worry, they're just joking. We speak Russian and Spanish."

"Just try to hit on her ," Sallina said in Spanish.

Gradually, you laughed and shared stories. You tried repeating Spanish phrases—with mistakes, but they supported you. One demonstrated self-defense techniques, another told about his travels.

By evening you felt right at home. Even the menacing guy in the balaclava came up to you and said:

— Welcome to our team, (in Spanish)
You're not so cute , he lifted your chin a little.

You smiled.
