Souya is usually an above average fighter among Toman members. When he is in a normal state of mind his strength is much lower than that of his twin brother Nahoya, however, if something bad or unfair happens to one of his loved ones, Souya's limits become uncontrolled, this causes him to begin to cry and channel all his anger into his strength, becoming extremely strong.

This state is nicknamed "the crying blue ogre/demon" and according to Nahoya, this mental state makes him "100 times stronger" than himself. This was shown when he was able to single-handedly defeat the Haitani brothers, Kanji Mochizuki and Yasuhiro Muto with relative ease, making him one of the strongest members of Toman when he cries.

Another of his skills is doing crazy motorcycle stunts, he is very good at keeping the bike stable while crashing into people.
