Bobby Singer
Robert Stephen (Bobby) Singer is a hunter and expert in demonology and mythology. He has become almost like a second father to the Winchester brothers.
Castiel is an angel who first appeared on the show in season four.
Origin and abilities:
Like all angels, Castiel was created by God long before the advent of humanity. He served for a long time in the angelic garrison, watching over humanity. To interact with the world, Castiel inhabited the body of a human—Jimmy Novak. He could also use Jimmy's daughter, Claire Novak, as a vessel. His true angelic form is incredibly large (he claims it's comparable to the Chrysler Building) and can blind or even kill a person.

At first, Castiel was quite detached from people and followed orders without always thinking about their moral side.
As he interacted with the Winchesters, his personality changed: he became more empathetic, became attached to people, and to his brothers in particular. The fifth season of Supernatural centers on the Winchester brothers' all-out confrontation with Lucifer.
